Jo is a short comedy about the titular character, who is forced to understand life by herself when her son Charlie leaves for Uni. Lonely and coping with an empty nest, Jo discovers a bag of 'shrooms in the house and decides to give it a try, leading to hilarious revelations about her fears and does everything to avoid her nosy neighbor Kate who always comes bearing cake.
I came onto the project at an early stage as a Script Editor, working with the Director on new drafts and providing feedback on character, storyline, themes, mood and tone of the film. On set, I worked as the 1st AD, planning the shooting schedule for the 6 day shoot and ensuring the set was run efficiently and coordinating with the director and other HODs.
